Babysitting service

Here at Toybox Agency we offer a fantastic stress free service of babysitters every night of the week. Our babysitters are well experienced child carers who work within the childcare sector and enjoy caring for children of all age groups. The babysitters all hold up to date CRB's and references are checked. We charge a small agency fee and the babysitter is paid on the night.

Nannies

A nanny provides quality childcare within the family home generally while the parents are out to work. The nanny is capable of sole charge of the children providing a stimulating environment caring for all there childcare needs. This can include everything to do with the children, including washing and ironing, cooking nutritional meals, shopping, encouraging learning through play, ensuring health and safety at all times. The nanny is either a fully qualified child carer with a recognized childcare qualification or someone who has been looking after children for a great number of years.

Mothers' help

A mothers' help work along side a parent caring for the children and general household chores. A mothers help will do more household duties than a nanny, and generally are not qualified but will have some kind of childcare experience which could include babysitting or looking after siblings. As time goes by the mothers' help may start to take some sole charge of the children once the parent feels the mothers' help is ready. A mothers helps' can be daily or live in depending on the family needs.

Maternity nurse

Maternity nurses are trained professional experienced nurses, ex-midwives, health visitors or nannies who worked with newborn babies. They have all had a great deal of experience with babies and have a very good understanding of the babies needs. A Maternity nurses will help the mother and baby to also build up a long lasting relationship and encourage good routines for feeding and bathing. Most Maternity nurses are self employed and work generally 6 days a week 24 hours a day.

Housekeepers

A housekeeper works with the family home running the household. This can include anything to do with the family including the weekly shop, all the cleaning, preparing all the meals for the family members, washing and ironing of the clothing, organising events and delivery of items. The housekeeper will also be responsible for the family duties which may need to be done. They are either live in or daily and are treated as part of the family.

Au pairs

An Au pair helps with the children and the running of the family home. The Au pair lives with the family and is joined as a family member. They should be included as part of your family and invited to join you on outing, visits and holidays. The Au pair is able to carry out light household duties such as washing, ironing, cooking and light cleaning. They are a helping hand to care for the children but should never be left in sole charge of the children. They are not a nanny,they are a helping hand to your family.The Au pairs may not speak english depending on which country they come from. They are here to learn the english language and about the way we live.
